Another one from last week. Can someone explain the significance of putting money in his lap? ...and am I the only one that finds irony in making an offering to a statue in a gift shop?

Just saw this one Scott and I love it. How long did you wait around for the monorail?

There actually wasn't any waiting for this. I was walking past and saw the monorail approaching. This was really the only shot I could've gotten. :D

Tucked in a corner, out of the way of the people moving back and forth from the train at the Frontierland station is an old wood burning stove.

The Red Cross Stove company was in business from the mid 1800s until the 1930s. I suppose it's possible that Disney recreated an antique stove for the specific purpose of putting it in this spot.

Then again, this may be an authentic stove that is over 100 years old that thousands of people walk past every day. I wonder how many of them notice it...

Love this kind of stuff. There is so much of it throughout the parks...Thanks for the pic and info.

Agreed. The bright, soft pastel tones of that first image are perfect.

I will say reading this thread for a few months beforehand helped my keep an eye for some of the more subtle details built into and hidden throughout the parks.
