Redwoods Autumn & New Tallest Maple "Humboldt Honey"

Here's a mix of photos from last weekend. The sun rays and golden leafed maple among redwoods shots are from Jedediah Smith redwoods.

The other 3 pertain to "Humboldt Honey", a new tallest maple I found near Avenue of the Giants in Humboldt redwoods south of Eureka. Tallest known in the USA, and likely new world height record among the entire Acer (maple) genus.

Weather was absolutely gorgeous this past weekend and into the start of the week. Wish I could have have stayed an entire week.

Nice shots. My favorites are 2 and 5. Number 4 looks very similar to the laser units that police use to measure speed.

Thanks for the feedback.

I'm sort of itching to print #1 myself.

It may be like another redwood forest photo I took in 2011, that needs to be enlarged and printed at 11 x 14 or 16 x 20 to get the right look.
