Normally my son's soccer league has a photographer come out and take pics for all the teams. Due to problems with the photographer, they nixed the whole photo deal this season. I volunteered to bring my stuff to take pics for our team. I'm not a pro, but i'm happy the way they turned out.

The exposure, lighting, composition and expression are great. Pay a little more attention to the player's uniform, the shirt makes it look like he has a beer belly, and the white string from his shorts is distracting, and should always be tucked in. Also, make sure when you put a player on one knee that you can see the calf and foot of the leg that is down, otherwise it looks like he has a stump.

Really nice, the uniform wouldn't bother me.

Fantastic lighting. Do you mind explaining your setup? I would be very happy with that.

This image is perfectly exposed in my opinion. Wonderful work!

Im sure theyll be over the moon happy with those shots. The kicker is a bit hot and intrusive on the face in my opinion but its nothing terrible. Id bet that the normal photog doesnt produce shots of that quality!

Perhaps not you, but trust me, many of parents find it distracting.

I think they turned out excellent. My only critique would be to maybe turn the rear flash down a bit, it is a little harsh on the right side of the face. Either way I think a parent would be overjoyed with these.
