I was FINALLY able to go to the store and try out the cameras in my hand. 60D felt better than the other one I was thinking of getting.
I hear rumors about the 70D coming out soon.. So I'm just wondering, is there a price drop right away after a new one comes out? Or if the 70D comes out, it would take a few months for the 60D to have a decline in price? I was thinking of getting it through the CLP, but it's still a significant amount of money ($800 body http://shop.usa.canon.com …uct_10051_10051_276387_-1). I just don't want to feel "rippd off" if in a few weeks or just a couple of months the 70D comes out, and there's a significant drop in price of the 60D
. Or maybe i'm just over thinking this
.
Anyone that used the CLP, how long was the process starting from the day you mailed away your broken canon, and the day you received your refurbished one?
One last question... The 60D's kit lens (18-135) seems a little to big for me right now, so I was wondering if for a beginner would that really be the ideal lens to get, or is there a different "lighter" one that would be better as a beginner lens for the 60D?
