A neighbour's apple trees proved tempting to the local partridge population.

Seriously though, interesting shots! I really like the colors... red apples, yellow leaves. I like #5 with the crest feathers up.

Beautiful shots! I suspect though, that this partridge is actually a ruffed grouse. (It would be, as it's in an apple tree. Ancient wisdom dictates that partridges are only found in pear trees. ;) )
