Both teams struggled this year and finished with losing records. Washington was victorious in this game 42-14 and ended the season with a 3-7 record. Jefferson ended with a 1-9 record. Washington High School was built 4 years ago and split the county in half. It has really hurt many of the high school sports programs. It's going to take a while to build them back up again. Thanks. Yeah, the lighting isn't too good. Jefferson High School was built back in the early 70's and I'm not too sure how much updating they've done on the lighting. I graduated from there back in '86 and I don't think the lighting has changed since then. Could be wrong, though. By the way, former Miss West Virginia, Tiffany Lawrence, did the coin toss. Since we dont have lights on our field, the other team must agree to a day game Saturday. But I get a sinking feeling the other team will want a different location because of the snow since they are from the beach. -Matty-
