Just an update... The second picture in this thread ended up winning the Local Fauna category at the photo contest I entered (Celebrating Nature through Photography by the National Center for Nature Photography in Toledo, OH).

I actually ended up finishing 1st, 2nd, and 3rd, in this category :) (Second place pic was an egret, the third was a blue heron).
