Excellant camera work! Exposed well and sharp! What lens did you use and about how far from you?

Thank you all so much for your kind comments! :) Yes, this sure is a healthy-looking coyote... like a plush toy! There is a den not far back in the woods, and a little (ok, 2 weeks) patience finally yielded a result.

Your shots are inspirational! Just beautiful!

I called my first Coyote in a few weeks back. Unfortunately he saw me before I saw him and ran off before I could snap a frame. I am going back to West Texas during Thanksgiving and trying again.
