The title isn't much help, so I will elaborate. My old original GoPro recently broke, and I was wanting to upgrade anyway, as the old GoPro quality is fairly average. I have narrowed it down to two options, the GoPro HERO 2 HD and one of the contour cameras (but not the ROAM). It is to be mounted in a race car, either on the dash/windscreen, or somewhere on the roll cage (the car has a roof btw). I have heard the Go Pro has slightly better overall quality, but the contour is easier to mount and easy to use?

I have also heard of the Replay XD cameras, although not quite sure how good they are?

What are your thoughts/suggestions?

The GoPro Hero 2 is old now. It will be replaced with the new and improved GoPro Hero 3 Black Edition at the end of this month. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A3PDXmYoF5U (external link)
