This wedding is from a few months ago but I've been crazy busy so not managed to put anything online recently.

If you would like to see a few more check out http://marksmithphotography.co.uk …ngphotographyblog/?p=1552 (external link)

Always happy to hear thoughts and ideas if they are constructive.

Looks like the sun is straight up (high noon) so very harsh light. The pictures are fun and sharp. But due to high son, there's some squinting.
Like #1,#2,#4 and #6 the best.

Yup--I agree--the harsh sun might have been one of the biggest challenges to overcome in getting good looking shots.

I like how you handled the sun in 8, though I feel like the background was not so thought out.

I think the background in 7 works quite well, though I wish you had either shot longer or had her a little further down the path to avoid the bits of foliage just edging into the frame.

I really like 6. I might have dropped a -1 exposure gradient on the bottom edge to help bring focus up; and I'm wondering if the expressions are so good that you should consider an alternate version that is a far tighter crop.

4 looked very odd to me until I realized that the gent was leaning against that post. Without realizing this it looked like he was oddly contorting his body to hide his legs behind the dress. I'd like his legs to be showing. Think of how, in a very subtle way, having his legs hiding behind the dress contributes to a kind of narrative.

I can't comment on color or even exposure as I'm on a old macbook that I don't trust.

Great shots! Not a fan of the guys holding the bride though!
