Took me a while to get this shot as my dog kept on scaring it off! Luckily I managed to grab it just before it took off for the last time.

My dog is a springer spaniel, I think I was lucky to get a photo of this at all as my dog was barking and jumping around everywhere! I didn't pay attention to you being in the UK. It looks very similar to our Red tail hawk. Nice capture no matter what its called! Focused on photography

Male bluebird. The fall color makes for a nice bokeh. Focused on photography

Bluesy, that is a great shot of that blue bird (not sure of its name) Saw some great pictures of snakes too! Love seeing everyone's work. So today I have officially decided that I am NOT into family photography. I hate it, and I am not even sure why I hate it, I just do. I love the one on one experience I think. I don't like crying kids and stressed out parents. I get enough of that home!! Photography is my release, so I decided I am sticking to kids and portraits. That is it, and food, cause maybe they will let me eat when I`m done!! Here is some work from recent shoots. I did 3 in row, these where some of my best shots, that I liked. And yes those are sprinkles on her lips, she couldnt smile or talk while I took the shots, and after awhile she got rainbow drool, it was pretty funny. And it does ![]() It is a nice one, but the lens was wide open Cameras: 7D2, S100

Nice shots, on this one I might apply a little smoothing under her eyes, the makeup on the left eye in particular has caught the light a little oddly. Cameras: 7D2, S100

She liked it, so I left it be. But for my portfolio I might go back to drawing board and re edit this one. I used the 50mm on this one at about 2.4, foot away, was overcast day, very blah lighting, so in adobe raw I pushed up the white balance to add a little warmth.

The 55-250 is actually really good when used like this, very nice shot. This was a 55-250mm shot...
