"Layer via Cut" edges is visible. Need help.

I'm trying to make another layer of the background(layer via cut) only, to denoise it, so as not to affect the duck. But the edges are visible as seen below. BTW, using PS Cs5

How do I get rid of this? How do i make it not visible when making another layer via cut?

Don't use "Layer via cut", you don't need that here (or just about ever). Use "Layer via copy".
