We shoot with Super Takumars and Zuiko OMs on a 5d2, 60D and GH2s. Look into those. And if you're wondering about IQ, take a look at some of our videos in my sig down there v. We only have a few Canon lenses on hand; 70-200 IS mk2 for example because you just can't beat that lens' IQ. Makes sense to save because with video, we don't need to AF and these old lenses definitely have some great IQ. No need to be an [L]over. For the price of one L, you can have a whole arsenal of quality lenses for video.

Multi-coated 50mm Zuiko - this should be fairly easy to find
Super Tak 105mm - pretty rare in good shape but if you come across one, it's a great find.

Man oh man, even when as a professional cinematographer in the 1960's, I either shot with a zoom lens (12-120mm Angenieux f/2.2) or with a camera that included a turret with three prime lenses (Such as the Bell and Howell 16mm Filmo). I cannot for the life of me consider shooting video with a single prime lens on my camera...

Shameless plugging, but if you want a good lens with smooth bokeh, then this is the lens you're looking for:
https://photography-on-the.net …/showthread.php?t=1245508

Has the best image quality, macro capabilities, super smooth and long focus thow which is good for video and it's fast too (f/2.8)
