5dii. Manual mode. Should this be happening and could the transmitter be to blame since it was a Cactus 4 that I used on my Pentax system?
Since its not ettl...I'm pretty sure they use the same connection.
I'll post an image to clarify.

I'll check the batteries. I can change them in the receivers but not the transmitter. I'll have to look it up. I've been wondering how to do that for 2 years. Again...they are Cactus V4's.

Nov 09, 2012 07:42 | #7 I just want to make sure this is not the body itself as the wireless system was flawless at 1/180th with my other system. 1/180th was max SS.

This, drop your shutter speed down to 1/125; that's the real sync speed for a 5dmk2 when using wireless triggers. Robert McCadden

It's fairly well documented that due to latency the working sync speed with radio triggers is 1/125 for the 5dmk2. It's likely that you may not be noticing the exposure falloff toward the edge of the frame, but it's likely there. If you shoot outdoor w strobes you probably won't notice it. Depending on the lighting and composition it is sometimes hard to see even in studio situations. Robert McCadden

I've got thousands of studio images in LR, and plenty online with EXIF intact saying otherwise, so we'll just have to agree to disagree there.
