Both are taken using a single LED penlight torch as the only source of light and represent approx. 10mm of the actual surface area - magnification around x3-3.5 using MP-E 65mm.

The item is an optical data disk, so the colours (colors) are from the protective resin refracting the light. The metallic lines are stop/start marks for each of the data tracks.

In good light you can see those track markings with the naked eye.
