I don't believe there is a hard copy, but you can download the online English version here:

No. At least not in the North American market. There isn't a G12 manual in print form. I have a G 12 and I was not happy that a printed manual was not available. I have 3 Pentax DSLR's...one bought less than a year ago and they all have manuals.

I tuck the manual in my camera bag...sometimes while out in the field I find I need to refer to it.
Canon had the manual only on a CD. I don't carry my laptop with me down the forest trails...not much use.

I bought a Canon G 12 manual by David Taylor. it's excellent and I use it on a regular basis. I would suggest buying one.

Get David Bush's book on the G12. It's all you'll need.

I used this - an excellent guide.

Old Timer Cameras used to sell printed copies of Canon manuals but having just checked their website it looks as if they have been stopped from doing so.

I have his book as well for the g12 and would highly recommend it to anyone. The book actually compliments the manual since there are things convered in the manual that are not covered in the book.

I find myself using the book for most things and page 200 - 203 of the manual as a valuable resource for information. One a person is familiar with the camera, those pages are all anyone really needs from the manual IMO.

The PDF is 214 pages so to do a hardcopy print is cumbersome and maybe even expensive in color. However, you can print in booklet form and double sided if you printer has the capability and get it as around 27 pages. I took the PDF to a print shop and they did this for $10. What you get is two page per 8-1/2 x 11 sheet, both sides printed
