rubbish!

no point digging mine, I'll leave them buried.

LOL. Mine too.
I just don't do that well on photowalks as I used to...the scenery was sure nice though. ;)

Anyone used these batteries?

they seem to have a decent writeup on other forums.

The Maha ones are supposed to be OK although I have stuck with Eneloops. I know the Maha smart charger is a good one :)

Which ones?

I use the Eneloops 2000 almost all the time for my flash. They are good in that they hold their charge well when you forget/dont have time to charge.

I have some maha powerex 2700 for my flash as well and they are MUCH faster than the eneeloops, but don't hold charge when you forget. I would suggest if you use them all the time, that the powerex are a better option than eneloops.

Speed difference? I would say that I can probably do (not on burst) 4 photos in 2 seconds, then wait 1 second with 2700 and 1 photo per 1 second then wait 1 second with the 2000. .

I cannot compare them for longetivity sorry. I don't use my flash very often. I would suggest that the most I used the fully charged powerex 2700, was shooting a formal, and I took about 300 shots. but stuffed if I remember if the batteries went flat.

I use the maha 4 battery charger for both 2700 and 2000

I use the Imedion batteries for AAA, AA & true 9.6V plus the Maha chargers - the 9000 is a great 4x cell unit and portable.. the 8-cell unit is great for mass charging.

Try here (external link) to compare prices - depending on what you are after and qty it is often cheaper to bring them in.

I've got Eneloops and Imedion batts... Charged from the Maha charger, I find most brands are pretty similar for my use. Would recommend either. :)

They spent the afternoon at the Whyalla Drag Club grounds.

Nice Toaran Andrew. I had an original '74 LJ Bathurst model when I was young. One of the biggest mistakes I made was selling that car to buy a HQ V8 ute. Now my jolly's are grandkids, how times change!!!
