There was a ton of activity Saturday for sure. The regulars were saying it was the most activity and action they had seen in years.

Don't know what affect the storm will have though.

I will take a few trips this year. I had no luck last year. I plan to stay over weekend to increase my odds.

Question: With the lens, can you photograph an Eagle in a tree in the rain, handheld, from a moving van and then crop it 50%? Answer: Yes

I can do birds aswell ;)

But i prefer my bikes and think the 400 f5.6 is a great easy to carry trackside lens.

QUOTED IMAGE

Taken 14000 images in two weekends over 6 days the last two rounds of British Superbikes and the 400 f5.6 on the 1DX is a dream and very sharp even wide open,i should think that about 11000 of those are with the 400 f5.6 so have a few to post if needed ;).

That Grackle has a stunning colour Scubadude and must say Bluesky99 the detail in that shot with the 1.4xtc is superb.

Thanx for the kind words. I'm enjoying your work as well. Really like the exhaust heat distortion in the above shot.
