Ok, so slightly blown red channels aside, I think I love this image. :D

Man, this thread IS dead. :(

So the above image is all natural light. However, I utilized two natural reflectors. As my favorite photog, Neil Van Neikirk says, natural light is no accident. Whether you like the image or not, discuss. :D

I'll add one to help the thread. Trying to use more photoshop and less lightroom on this one.

Sorry jere man. Im not feeling it. The thing on the right is distracting, she looks really uncomfortable and combined with the camera angle, its just all around strange. What else ya got? :D

+1 Its a nice enough shot of her with a good expression. But the pose and rather constrictive cropping robs the shot of context.

Hmmm... well this is subjective but I personally would try to process her skin for two reasons: 1) Even out some of the red blotchiness, 2) Remove the arm hair. #2 is the most subjective but I personally always try to do this.

Otherwise, I like the image. PP is only thing I would change.

:D Well, I meant discuss natural reflectors and natural light etc, but thanks for the recommendations. I do process skin for larger prints but find that when Im trying to do it for smaller or web sized images, I can never get it to look natural and not be "too smooth". The arm hair is staying though as getting rid of it is beyond my PS skill set.

Nice set, Mr. Wilt. I like the first image the most. The second one is nice too but could really use some warmth. Look at the difference in skin tone from the 1st to 2nd shot. If you have LR or PS, bring them both up and match the color temperature settings. I think it will make quite a difference. :D

Agree.

My solution is always fixed WB in camera when shooting whether ambient light or not. Then just minot tweaks and sync in LR. So much easier that way.

Thanks, guys for the tips. I went ahead and made the adjustment and reuploaded. Hopefully you guys see a difference.
