Love it! I am partial to the breed, I know thats an aussi, but I had a border collie. Had to give him to a friend, he wasnt a fan of my newborn child.

It's a very very busy photo, the dog almost gets lost in it. I would either get a dog+handler shot, or just the dog; including all the other stuff in the arena doesn't add anything for me.

good timing

I agree

tight

dog needs to be like a running back with the ball
center of attention

2 crops

1. nice tight show the eyes
2. crop with the barrier to show how high he jumped

IMHO

First time shooting any kind of sports, appreciate the feedback, wasn't sure to crop or leave handler in. Now I know.. I was sitting in chair, but if I was able to lay on the ground on stomach and shoot up at the dog, it would look like he/she even jumped higher. As you can see, there was a orange net all around the ring, preventing me to do so, or even sit on ground. Thanks again.

Question, I was shooting a 70-200 @ 70 1/2000 f3.2 iso 800 what could I have done better with my settings to get better depth of field, so the backround was more blurred .
