Awesome images Max Powers. I have both of those lenses you have. You do some really good work :) Im thinking of getting a FF camera probably in a year or so. Still not decided if I should go for the older 5Dc or one of the newer 5Ds or 6D.
I know I should practice more, and its not all about gear, but I think FF might help me a bit more than my 550D.

Love this, very surreal effect.

Taken with the 135L wide open (is there any other aperture for that lens? :) )

Patiently on a quest looking for a 5D in the UK, apart from the shutter issue, any tips that I should look out for?

Just remember that it's an old design, with dated menus and a somewhat clunky feel, if you're used to the 40D or newer cams - 20D or 30D and it would feel like second nature.

Give it time, play around with it a lot and you'll start to get a feel for it. I was actually really disappointed with the camera until I noticed that Lightroom did some weird things to the noise patterns and switched back to editing in DPP. Now I'm in love.
