The OP bought a 70-200 to keep up with his kids. Not to take ariel shots from a plane or waking up in the wee hours to get the best light. End thread.

Ryan, I think you can ignore about 90% of the comments in this thread.. some people just can't comprehend.

Of course you can get great shots with any lens, with MF, with Film, with an iphone, blah blah. Ryan has described his situation and asked whether he should replace his 135L with a 70-200L. Can Ryan get awesome shots with the 135L.. absolutely. When chasing his daughter around is he going to miss an "Opportunity" to snag a shot with the 135L... YES! Ryan listen, for your objective, the 70-200L is going to suit you much better than the 135L.

Smart answer, but my post was related to the statement that the 24-105 is a boring lens.in my views, it is the life of some that is boring:-)
