This is a really good lens for macro.
Works wonders with the T3i from personal experience:

Has a very close focus distance. Perfect for jewellery, coin, microchip macros

Full frame, but the aperture was too wide I guess. Those shots were made hendheld.

beautiful shots either way. Love how water droplets look in macro. good eye!

What would using a 1.4 teleconverter do for the macro?


My camera doesn't take great pictures.....I do! :rolleyes:

IQ will suffer. Extension tube would be better if you're after higher magnification.
