Sad to say I understand this one. If the power just "blinks" off and then comes right back on the registers all take at least 3 or 4 minutes to come back up to operating status and that's only if the "network" is local in house!! Clerks can't just "ring up" items any more due to the inventory control and scanning software and computer age,

Not like the old Mom and Pop stores of days gone by. No power and - done.

Even if (and I can SEE that it WAS) the power was on when the photo was taken you have to wonder how often it was popping off, surging or dimming. Also I'll bet that once the employees went home then that sign probably took on a whole new meaning and good luck if you are the owner or manager in getting them back to work anytime soon!! LOL!!

Another post Hurricane Sandy sign (though not a traditional sign) .
My son and I were on the return leg of a bike ride. One of the destinations of the ride was to his favorite climbing tree. He was very disappointed to learn that that tree was a casualty of the storm. I am guessing the owner of this tree was disappointed at the loss of this one as well. This stump is probably 30" in diameter.

Got to love it. There were some great shots off the road but I just wasn't feeling good about wandering like I usually do when we go on vacation.....

I was always under the impression that this was something you DIDN'T want:

Snowblower may we know where this particular sign was posted? I for one want to avoid that area. I have a severe allergy to both landmines and marine mines.
