That 7D is very tempting and less of a hassle then going through CLP. If I wasn't looking for filters then I would of picked up the 7D.

Basically, you can earn cash back if you access Canon thru their website, used to be 3% for Canon but now it's 4%. You can use this site to access many other sites and earn cash back, i.e Adorama (3%).

Upromise has 5% cashback. Haven't used them before but other people say they're good to go.

Woohoo I successfully stalled enough until all the 5D2s were gone. My CC thanks me! D800E still seems like best cam out there to me (sorry Canonites. The button placement alone makes me wanna use Canon and much better lens selection, but...)

How old are the refurb lenses at the Canon store? I assume they are all going to be UY/UZ/UA type date codes but I don't know for sure. Had a couple that caught my fancy but I don't want to get them if I get very old ones.

If I don't get the shots I want with the gear I have, the only optics I need to examine is the mirror on the bathroom wall. The root cause will be there.
