I think the 24 to 70 is boring for a zoom. IMO

This forum is getting me broke. Today, I just upgraded to a 24-70 mkii because I read many blogs here that it is worth every $$$$. Now I look at these pics, and wished I instead bought the 50L. I am doomed to remain poor.

Ahah, awesome. Thanks you just made me felt better, because I sold my 24-70 a month ago, and got myself a 50L this week. Haven't been able to shoot much with it, but by the few shots I got with it, awesome lens.
Cheers.

My Sigma 105 is probably my favourite lens. I love it.

Other primes are nifty fifty, and just recently 400L...

Don't say that to loud or people will say that it's your fault, that you don't know how to use it

Well, my Tamron 17-50mmhas gone leaving me with just the 28 1.8, 50 1.8 & 100mm F2 primes. The good news is I have a 5D Mk1 on the way to make great use of them.

Next question is what else do I need to add to that triumvirate? :)

*LOL* Yeah your right about that. It really all comes down to a personal preference for sure:)
There is nothing wrong with the lens. I have the 25 to 105 and I like the extra reach that it offers. I guess it is all about compromise.
