Snowblower may we know where this particular sign was posted? I for one want to avoid that area. I have a severe allergy to both landmines and marine mines.

I've gotta wonder why the sign instructs you to go slow in the mind field, as opposed to, saying "danger" or "keep out!" Is it because they are older mines with slow trigger mechanisms and they want to make sure you linger long enough to...

Good post!

I KNOW you can get it in the mainland. As well as CAT. Have seen BOTH in a restaurant before... didn't eat there, but yup... on the menu.

I'd have tried it just to say I've eaten it. The dog, not the little girl :)

There's a LOT of Chinese things that I won't eat - mostly because I'm afraid I'd like it and want to order it again

Saw the link to this site for "Signs that State the Obvious" (external link) off MSN's home page today and thought I'd share it here. I LOLed on the one about "no door installed". :)

I remember seeing a news article about this town a few years back. It said something about the towns signs always being stolen by visiting American's and that they were not going to put the signs back up because of how much it was costing them...LOL

Silly American's :)

Well...they still have the signs up. Supposedly, they are theft proof now. But all funny names aside...this has got to be one of the quietest, most beautiful small towns I have ever seen! There couldn't have been no more than 20-30 people that lived there. You could look across the big field and look over to Germany. I really wished I had my 30D back then but after a day of enjoying Germany's finest beers...didn't want nothing to happen to my camera so I had to opt for my little point and shoot!

LOL...I have heard in the past that they have had festivals so I guess the name would've been "****ing (name your fest) Festival".

Not so much funny as strange... like a 52.125 mph speed limit? This was outside a jewelry store.

The more ridiculous they make the number the more likely you are to remember it... ;)
