i have the oppertunity to pick up a sigma 70-200 2.8 dg hsm for $500. The guy says its in mint condition so im thinking about picking it up...is it worth it to pick it up? is it a bad lens? good lens? someone please fill me in!!

If what you have written down is correct- it's about correct for a used one of that model- maybe slightly better on price- (slightly )...
