There needs to be a separate room for Nikon with different threads. Might as well. It's called Photography-on-the.net and Canon isn't in the name of the website. Might as well expand it to keep things separate.

Thank you. bw!

Looks like Mod keeps this thread on short leash. What did you do ?. Looks like it's calmer than when it was at thread #1 :).

This thread is always on watch.

Hopefully, when the new site is up, we will finally have a Nikon section. :)

i didnt do anything, i asked for moderation because you came in here inciting arguments about "brands", and someone, cant remember who posted a link to his for sale stuff.

Both are against the rules and since us guys in the 2am thread have all been threatened with bans for not reporting stuff, i did. This site has a ton of members and we have all been asked to report rules violations because the Mods just cant catch it all.

I was thanking Skip for his help.

It wasn't like that when I actively participated on thread #1. It was wilder I think, I can't recall any Mod participation. :).

no worries, i try to follow the rules, you and J went a full page of arguing back and forth, it was uncalled for and thats the kind of thing that gets threads locked and people banned.
J had told you that you were breaking the rules but it still went on.
I'd rather report a couple of post than be banned for not reporting it.
Jon has made it clear that there is 0% tolerance and all involved will be banned.

Congrats on D7000!
I don't mind when I switched from T2i to D700 either.
I know some people make a huge deal on menu and "feel" of the camera

I thought you were getting a D800 with PCnation last April?

I'm guilty of it in other threads but, it's not about bashing for me. It's about telling the truth and not sugar coating it.

Now, can we get back on topic pleaze?;)
