It beats me why Canon has introduced a 24-70 f/4 IS when the 24-105 is such a brilliant lens...

Hmm, not so sure about your photoshopping of the Pelican 'Photoby'... plus your sensor needs cleaning....

I thought I'd try to tempt one of the hummingbirds that hang around my house to feed out of my grandson's hand. If I place the main feeder on the patio table, this male costas will still feed from it even though we are just a couple of feet away from him...so...

I took an old aspirin bottle, drilled a hole in the top and put a feeder flowerette in the hole and filled with sugar water.

I think with a little patience, this might just work. There's a lot of green reflection because my patio has green 'astro turf'.

Nice DT3. I just saw your other message, lol I thought HM's and DT's merged.

Thanks asianspec, my grandson was pretty exited about the possibility that the hummer might land on his hand...maybe next time.

And you're right, HM and DT ratings have merged but when I was in, between 1963 and 1967, they were still seperate. Frankly, I'm glad they were seperate then. It was tougher to make promotion because there were so few of us but to be honest, we had it pretty soft.

Haven't been able to test out my newly purchased lens much (long story, lol) but so far, so good. Here's a shot I took tonight:

ah. i see. makes sense. I went to core school, but yea i got dropped, left as a PC3,but now they are SH's. lol

Yea maybe next time for your grandson. If it likes your family, its bound to happen.
