I've been playing with the 27DO for a couple weeks. Before I stashed it away, I was currious as to how the look would change shooting it with deflector only using the opaque white that comes with it, then the optional semi clear and then silver. If anyone is interested, take a look.

1 - opaque white

The semi clear on has to much shadow casting on the eye lashes for me.

BTW, the eyelash shadow was a very popular look in the 30's, 40's and 50's with Hollywood portraits from what I've read.

I am thinking we should bring that look back....some one needs to make a lightroom preset that puts in eyelash shadows.....
