I've been playing with the 27DO for a couple weeks. Before I stashed it away, I was currious as to how the look would change shooting it with deflector only using the opaque white that comes with it, then the optional semi clear and then silver. If anyone is interested, take a look.

Try refreshing your screen. they are there, but I think the server went to sleep for a second.

The semi clear on has to much shadow casting on the eye lashes for me.

Ya, plus it has the obvious double shadow under the nose. I don't like the clear.

BTW, the eyelash shadow was a very popular look in the 30's, 40's and 50's with Hollywood portraits from what I've read.

I am thinking we should bring that look back....some one needs to make a lightroom preset that puts in eyelash shadows.....
