had a chance this last weekend to visit a farm I had been wanting to photograph for a long time. The house is supposed to be the oldest freestanding stone structure west of the Alleghenies. I was surprised to find the old Dodge coupe sitting in the barn, it is from 1946-1948.

Great shots. The lighting in the last one is perfect.

Thanks, I appreciate the compliments. The last shot and the piano were both light painted with my flashlight.

Great shots! Love the framing. Looks like the house is a little past the "fixer-upper" stage, bet it was a really nice place in it's day. You see things like that around Michigan as well. It has always boggled my mind as to how someone can just leave a house, a barn, a vehicle, or a piece of heavy equipment to just rot/rust away. Up by my grandfathers place there was an old Bay City drag line (type of excavator) we used to play on back in the 1960's that was just parked in a field. It was just sitting there and starting to rust up when we were growing up and was still there a couple years ago, much more rusted and trees growing around it, but still parked as it was 40 some years ago.

Very nice series. If only that car could talk, I'll bet it could tell some tales.

Fantastic find! That old car in the barn is epic.

Great shots, Steve!
