I am surprised about this "feature" vs. dumping RAW and JPG to now inserted SD card. vs. now saving jpgs to both inserted and new-ly inserted CF card. I shoot to the CF card only but do sometimes keep a SD card in the camera as a back up. I've noticed that if I take the CF card out and shut the camera door the SD card becomes the default card. If I don't shut the door then all is fine when I put the CF card back in. Dave.

The company feels it's an issue that affects only some 5D Mk III models, not all. I have a feeling that it has something to do with having a CF card that is a different speed than the SD card. They've sent me a few different cards and I've had problems with all, in both of my 5D Mk III bodies. Haven't tried just the SD card without a CF but I have a feeling it wouldn't be problematic. www.facebook.com/stageshooter

I also have not had an issue with changing cards out and resetting to jpeg. I leave door open, as states before, and it all remains as set before opening door.
