No one has tried this? I bought a filter through them because everyone raved about them but no one has bought a ball head? Weird. Guess I'll just look into the giottos or vanguard series

The are probably made by the same manufacture in China.

Sometimes I forget that you can do that. Haha. If I buy it this weekend I'll let you know how it is

My only experience with a Marumi product is Leica thread mount lens adapters. These are beautifully made stainless steel pieces manufactured in Japan. They are of the highest quality, as good as the Leitz ones. They cost more than the $65 this ballhead is going for so I suspect this head is not up to Arca-Swiss quality...

The are probably made by the same manufacture in China.

Some of the Manfrotto stuff including low end tripods, bags and other accessories are sourced to China. So don't be fooled by price or even brand names.

Btw i found the ballhead unbranded.

The HorusBennu ballheads are well reviewed here. I have the FX-45Q and love it, especially the lever quick release and the finger adjustment to make the lever compatable with different AS plates. Was just adjusting the tension today to make it just right on both my RRS L Plate and the Hejnar 70-200 2.8 lens plate I received today.
