Here's a link to some photos I took yesterday ---> http://www.flickr.com …0/sets/72157632074136017/ (external link)

I happen to love the G15. It is one of those cameras that makes you just want to go out and use it, and it is versatile enough to capture pretty much anything you want (as long as you work within its limitations, of course). The only con I have seen is that it will blow highlights easily. I offset this by keeping the exp comp dial set to -2/3 in JPEG or by underexposing by about a stop in RAW. The shadows pull up nicely in post processing.

Have fun with the new camera!

Just received a new one also, it will be my wife's camera. I am also impressed with the physical layout etc. Can't wait to see what kind of images it can produce.

Received mine today. 8 years of Canon DSLRs, should have gotten a G series years ago. Picked up a Tamrac 5292 case as well. Holds the camera nicely, plus has a front pocket that can hold an extra battery and charger. The picture quality will be good enough as having an easy small bag to grab when going out will lead to pictures I would not have taken.

That Tamrac 5292 looks perfect, I had been wondering which case to get for this camera. :cool:
