What an excellent tribute and outstanding photos. I was born and raised in Arlington, Va. Arlington Cemetary is truely a place of solemnity and peace. It is without a doubt the most hallowed and most beautiful place in our country. The headstones standing in rank pay tribute to the devotion to duty, honor and country by those who served. God bless each and everyone of them.
Thanks Monroe, and I totally agree on what your speaking here. Very cool on being raised there. I'm looking forward to going back there next year to see some spring or Fall colors. have'nt decided which yet.
Very nice. Arlington is such an imposing place even for non Americans. When we visited it last year it left a lasting impression on both my wife and I. We felt an overwhelming sadness that we could not shake off. Thanks for posting them.
Thanks for your impressions Lloyd true on the imposing place. I solely walked around the cemetery(feet and legs paid for that haha ) but yeah felt what you said. such a beautiful place. Like said above Every American should see once. during the changing of the guards each time I could'nt help but tear up.
