1/160, f/5.6, ISO200. I shot this in JPEG and it was pretty sharp, but I had to sharpen it some more when I cropped the image this much.

I think you misunderstood my question. Your picture is darker and a different color than mine. Is that because of those setting or was it due to possibly one of the other settings on the camera. What light setting did you use? etc. did you have a filter on?

Dave, you shot with these settings:

Exposure 0.003 sec (1/320)
Aperture f/10.0
Focal Length 250 mm
ISO Speed 200

He shot with these:
Exposure 0.006 sec (1/160)
Aperture f/5.6
Focal Length 250 mm
ISO Speed 200

I shot with these:
Exposure 0.01 sec (1/100)
Aperture f/10.0
Focal Length 300 mm
ISO Speed 100

I sharpened mine a bit in DPP, -1.5 on brightness, went -2 on shadow, and +1 on contrast. I guess it depends on how you want your finished photo look. Here was my original shot, then the edit. I like a darker, warm color when shooting the moon (lol).

Your original looks just like mine. I'll have to take my pics and do some processing and see how they look. Thank you.

Dave, maybe it's my monitor or something you do in PP, but your pics seem to have a purplish hue to them?
