By "flood" they mean "500" and by "500" they mean "a number we chose ourselves." They knew what they'd be facing.

Agree.

I ordered pretty early, my e-mail confirmation is 1pm (pacific).

No communication. Arrival estimate is Nov 27-Dec 3. LOL

Congrats to all you lucky people in the US. I couldn't get in on many of these US deals since they no longer allow shipment to Canada. I might have to make a trip to NY.

Received the package today. It was the body from a kit combo without the lens.... WOW, great deal.

Does it have the US/Canada warranty card in the box? Everything was new as they stated? (other than the fact the lens was taken out of the box.)

I missed the Fedex guy :( I went out to eat just for an hour. I didn't even realize that with Fedex Home Delivery you can't even pick it up if you miss them! So I have to wait at home all day tomorrow I guess? Ugh this stinks...I was so excited to finally get it.

Sometimes, folks worry too much about this. All you get...is the kit box with the lens removed. It's absolutely no different then buying it from B&H, removing the kit lens, and selling it yourself...except that you don't have to go through the hassle of actually selling it. Otherwise, the camera, and the silly piece of warranty paper, are all the same.

No need to worry about the details: get out and enjoy your camera. And smile at the great deal you received...

You can pick it up at the facility.

Mine is going to arrive tomorrow, glad there is a warranty card in it, idk why people were tripping when the listing said "Canon USA warranty". I spent the last week getting rid of my crop cam only lenses/picking up some new ones/some CF cards so I'll be ready to start shooting tomorrow!
