I went for a walk around Gloucester cathedral and the docks today. The docks are great for photography. Here are a few I took:

really like 4,5 and 6. like 1,2 and 3 too, but the skies look odd in them and distract from the great shots.

Thanks Rick.

I know what you mean about the sky. I don't mind it in 2 but it does look odd to me in 1 & 3. It is what happens when you use a lot of contrast and structure in Silver Efex. The sky was really boring today almost completely white in some of the photos and I was trying to bring some detail out but have over done it a bit.

All of them are great. Excellent BW conversions.

I really like 2. Obviously it is a fairly high contrast processing job but considering the light conditions on the day and the detail in the rest of the shot I think it is fine - it is all down to personal preference though. The overall definition of the buildings and the reflection are great.

I've only managed to get over to Gloucester once and I didn't see any of these places.

Nice series of images. They are all sharp, full of detail, and the processing is well done.
