The one I really need is the new 600 f4 IS II.

The new 4 stop IS would help me to get shots that I currently miss, due to the significant amount of time it takes to get everything set up and clamped down on a tripod. The better IS and much lighter weight, combined with a newer body that can produce great IQ at 1600 ISO, would make it possible to take images handheld when necessary, and still get acceptable sharpness.

Unfortunately, it's going to be at least a few years before I will be able to afford this lens. The way Canon keeps releasing more expensive lenses and bodies, it is practically impossible for me to keep up with the competition.

"Your" and "you're" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one.
"They're", "their", and "there" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one.
"Fare" and "fair" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one. The proper expression is "moot point", NOT "mute point".

200mm f/2. It's impractical to use this everyday. But I really like the effect this lens has at portraits and people shots.

For me, I definately prefer the Zeiss look on the wideangles over Canon's equivalents, and Canon lenses on the telephoto range.. Hence my dream setup for Canon would be:

-Canon 85mm f1.2 L
- Zeiss 21mm
- The new Zeiss 15mm f2.8
- Canon EF 200 F2L
- Canon 135mm f2 L
- Canon 50mm f1.2 L
- Carl Zeiss Biotar 75mm f1.5 (love that swirling bokeh!)
- Zeiss 35mm f1.4 (although the Sigma 35mm f1.4 does look almost as good, but I do love that bokeh of the Zeiss)

I dream of the 85mm f/1.2, 24mm f/3.5 TSE and the Zeiss 21mm f/2.8 ZE.

I think I might wind up with the Sigma 85mm and Zeiss 21mm f/2.8. Those two would be close enough.
