Unfortunately, my images of Endeavor's final flight to LAX are beset with heat haze issues. I decided to try processing one of my Endeavour images with a monochrome conversion and a faux in fared (IR) effect. C&C welcome.

A good photographer can take extraordinary photos anywhere, with any camera and any lens while a mediocre one will take mediocre ones everywhere, with every camera and every lens.
Never limit yourself with what others think you should do. Shoot what you find interesting, exactly the way you want to.

I've been playing around with Ps and ColorEfex4 on some of my IR shots and thought I'd share the results of my latest efforts.

On the left segment is straight from camera no PP, next to it is custom white balance in ACR, next one I've run the David Burren/Khromagery action on it, which is where I would have stopped, the final segment has been put through ColorEfex4 using the 'Geyser Sunset' and detail extractor which gives the final image below.

The border was added in photoshop along with the logo, one thing I have noticed is to make sure filters and lens should be as dust free as possible.

Meh, it'll do.
