I need to get in on this... I have a bunch of die-cast, some nice, some cheap... but plenty to practice shooting with. :) Do they sell the black or white plexi at Lowes or Home Depot?

It is actually a glossy piece of black plexiglass ... do not use a mirror as you'll end up with two reflections, one from the glass and one from the reflecting material behind this glass.

Both black and white glossy plastic plates can be found on eBay ... that's were I got mine, from the same seller I got the 80cm light cube in fact.

Thanks :) Got some off ebay to try!

I did find a white plexi 60x60cm in my local DIY, but never black. Just bought it from eBay from a guy in Germany.

Is that a yellow AutoArt Diablo GTR in the photo ? I guess dust is a problem with this setup ?

I wish it was AutoArt, it's Hot Wheels, lol. Not a bad model for the cheap price though. My only AutoArt is the RX-8 on the left side of the piano. My wife got it for me for Christmas one year to match my car. :) Sadly I took it on a road trip to a big car club meet and lost the side mirrors. :( The nicest models I have in my collection are Revell Creative Masters series. They have cool details like carpeted floors, seat belts, trunk liners, cool little prints like fuse diagrams etc.
I have another 1.5 walls like that and dust is a huge problem, never planned for it. Eventually I want to build some sealed cases inside my garage when I get around to remodeling it, then these shelves will all hold prints since this room is my little home photo studio.

Didn't have a car model handy to try this with...so don't murder me before I can get some car shots up :P Need a bigger piece of plexiglass first.
