The EOS 5D Mark III is now in-stock USA warranty for $2599.99, which is below your price target of $2700.00.

Interesting note on cpw's page about the warranty poll they did:

The results of our warranty poll! We received 27 responses covering all three Canon US repair centers.
USA Model Cameras bought from unauthorized dealers are eligible for warranty repair service. We had no reported incidents of USA-model purchases from unauthorized dealers being rejected for service.

Please note that this is just our data and observations, and the official policy of Canon Inc. may be subject to change, but for now we believe that USA model items are eligible for warranty service. We have changed the marking on these dealers as "Canon USA Warranty" in our listings.

I guess they're confirming that BigValueInc does get warranty service.

this is the same seller as two weeks ago for black friday.

It was $2500 USD then and $2600 USD is also an amazing price.

I received my camera from the previous sale they had, as did others and I can confirm that they are a great company to deal with and their products are top notch.

Some people had issues with slow shipping and had to call (me being one of them) but they do get it out to you and shipping is free.

Hope that helps anyone who is on the fence about this purchase. PM me if you have any other questions.

I'm sure others who have bought from bigvalueinc can chime in.

This is a great price, dunno if I should make the jump or not. I'm thinking (hoping?) the price comes down more as New Years approaches.

The longer you wait the more you don't get to use it. ;)

shipping to canada is not offered. Even if they did, you'd get slammed with taxes and duties since they won't put a lower value on the package due to insurance reasons. Have it shipped to an Amerifriend or a cross border p.o. box and go pick it up.

Oh, what the hell, I'll be surprised if the price falls below $2500 anytime soon. Hope it actually arrives by the 13th, like they say in the listing!

Do you have direct experience amkorp? Not challenging, just wondering.

Taxes are gonna happen anyways (unless ya try to sneak it across - that's a different story though.). There's no Canadian duty on photographic equipment.

You will always have to pay taxes (unless you sneak it or claim it against a personal exemption), but there is no duty on cameras or lenses purchased from the US.

Brokerage fees can be avoided or minimized as long as you pick your shipping method carefully.

I contacted BigValueInc in the past and they were unable to ship to Canada. So you'd either have to rely on a friend, a PO Box, or use a reshipping service. A reshipper to Canada (including insurance) would probably cost you about $120-$140 and may kill the deal.
