Just curious as to whether any 1Dx owners regretted their choice of camera & if so why?
My only regret, so far is, that my 60mm macro ef-s isn't compatible, as I love using that lens, but otherwise I think the 1Dx is an awesome machine.

It's disappointing to me that I can't afford to purchase one... thats the only thing about the 1DX that disappoints me!

 Yeah I am sure there are lots of people out there that are going to say (or admit) they regret buying a $7,000 camera.

Actually even the normal 100mm EF macro lens is perfect and that can be had very cheap. Why would you ever expect a crop lens to work on the top of the line FF camera? Crop lenses are at a 1.6X form factor so even if your 60mm macro lens would fit, you would be disappointed as it would give you the same field of view on a FF as a 60mm rather than the 100mm field of view you would get with a crop camera.

If anyone buys a 1Dx and is disappointed by it, it most likely means they don't know what the hell they're doing.

Think new Canon lenses are overpriced? Lots (and lots) of data will set you free!

Wow, just checked out your flickr feed.

Holy smokes, whatever you are using is working just fine! Awesome stuff.

Only regret is not getting it sooner! I plan on getting its big brother the 1Dc as I do a lot of video work. Will be nice to have two 1-series bodies and the ability to do 4k video!!

Haha...thanks. Most of that was with the 1Ds2. I just got the 1DX a couple of weeks ago. Just learning all it's functions, and then, I'll get back to model photography. Appreciate it. ;)
