you cant tell me that these animals are killed with one shot and don't suffer especially the ones killed by bow and arrow and by children too.

Yes sir. One shot. They don't suffer any more than the animals that provide the meat that you buy in stores and restaurants (little to none). They do taste better and are more healthy to eat, as they're 100% organically grown. Sharing the outdoors and the hunting heritage with your kids is a great way to connect with each other and with nature. I'd be more than happy to take you hunting so you could experience it for yourself if you'd like to give it a try. I realize that isn't for everyone, and that's cool. I don't belittle anyone for not being a hunter. Hopefully you'll be equally courteous to folks that are different than you as well. :)

On kids and shooting proficiency.... With proper instruction and practice, they can do just as well as an adult (if not better). :)

Don't forget SouthWest Oregon as well, check out the Langlois area sometime. (maybe I can find some pics to post up soon)

Here's a couple from wyoming

I live in Idaho and have a place near the wyoming border. Earlier in the year I applied for wyoming pronghorn and buffalo tag. I drew both.
Luck usually runs in 3's and unfortunately I forgot to buy a lotto ticket.

Here's some pics from my speed goat hunt.

Passed on this guy on first day

The buffalo hunt takes place outside of Jackson, Wyoming near the tetons
It is a once in life time tag and very, very hard to draw. I think this is one of the few places in North America that you can hunt wild unfenced buffalo on public ground.
The hunt is designed to control the buffalo population because they are overgrazing the winter range.
I know many of you may think: "how hard could this hunt be?" You see buffalo in the Teton Nat'l Park all the time."
Well, the buffalo have to leave the park in order to be hunted, and they sure do know the park boundaries.
I made several trips over and had no luck. Wyoming F and G said quite a few were shot openning day back in August but very few had left the park since then.
Here's a snap of scenery after about a 4 or 5 hour horse back ride east and south of the park.

I finally got lucky over thanksgiving and found a couple bulls on the right side of the boundary.

Anybody who has shot something bigger than a deer knows that the fun stops the moment the animal hits the ground. In the case of a buffalo the fun stops before the echo of the shot is over.
these things are huge. You cant begin to roll them over or move the head for a pic.
I hired a local outfitter to help drag this beast out. They had about 3000 ft of cable, winches, horses and a lots of manpower.

Nice hunt. Wyoming is a great place to hunt. I've got some extra room in my freezer.:)

Enjoy your buffalo meat. We had to buy another freezer to accommodate the buffalo meat from my husbands hunt. My family loves it. Supposed to get our rug and european mount next week. :)
