Waiting on suppliers. Specifically, more injection mold tooling. It was supposed to be started December 10, but the project the shop had in front of us became a giant cluster. We don't have an updated schedule yet but are begging and pleading with them (mostly by bribing them with bourbon).

Bummer. Had put one on the Christmas list for my wife to get me one.

We basically make it a tradition to totally miss Christmas sales every year. Last year, the Black Rapid patent fiasco took the Loop off the market in November before the Cinch was ready. Cinch MkII was supposed to be out in late November, but supplier delays pushed that back as well.

Me, too! So I guess I'll just have to replace it on the list with an 85 1.2.

If you are desperate for a QR system, the benchmark we are attempting to beat is the Swiss made Le Hook (http://www.lehook.co.uk (external link)). They are fantastic, they are strong, they are very trick... but they are also $40 for the pair.

Well, folks, I got my Le Hook today. It came registered mail in a padded envelope.

So, there is one SLIGHT problem with this hook. Well, you see, size matters. Let's not kid ourselves. No one wants a teeny weeny....

Naturally, I ordered the largest one. Being a dummy, I have no idea what centimeters or millimeters represent. So why couldn't they also put inches?

Holy Moly, this clip is on steroids. Check this bad boy out:
