I like them but the water mark is a little to much. Can't you fade it in. I do.:)

I've only ever done bikes the once a couple of years a go with a tog friend, BSB at Brands Hatch. I only went because it was free on the Friday Practice, but enjoyed the challenge. Four wheels is my thing. :)

You've got some great images there. I understand why you've watermarked them, but it really distracts viewers. Also one thing I like to see with motorsport or bike shots is a bit of space in front of the subject for it to "drive" into if you know what I mean. Leaving that space in front also does not crowd the subject as much.

X2,

And you might try two other things,

1/ Shoot with the sun behind you so the bikes not in its own shadow, (not alsways easy I know)
2/ Try 250th SS

Nice try first time...just leave some room.

I am sorry... but the irony of the name and copious use of it... just kind of funny.

Aside from that, you asked for CC, and so with that technically the shots are find, but they seem to not convey motion. I get the coming at you angle, but the shots look still. For Bikes, I often use panning simply because very seldom do the backgrounds ever add any value. I am not a huge fan of panning... but with bikes, the technique seems to work well.

excellent first attempt. aside from the few tips already tossed your way, i would submit the following:

try to capture something 'signature' of the track in your photos at some point. with the exception of the 2nd to last sample, these shots could have been anywhere. :)

your last two images seem to be the sharpest, and have the most 'pop' to them. not to be too nitpicky, but the rest of the samples seem a little fuzzy to me compared to those last two. can't say exactly why though :( Whatever you did for those last 2, more of that!

not a bad effort for your first try , keep the crop a little looser to get the impression of movement.

not bad for your first time out...I would say that they all look a little underexposed too. The lack of a sense of speed really hurts them IMO.

Some great shots nice & clean, I'd just try and use the sun a little more to get rid of the shadows.

Nice shots, I have only ever done one bike shoot, however yesterday added all the dates to my calendar for Brands 2013...!

Take a look through my past posts and you'll find my first attempt at BSB, they were pretty pants however I expect more this year and am looking forward to it already!
