Wanna trade? I have a two year old that like to grab and throw anything he can get his hands on and a 7 year old that just takes everything out and then just leaves it on the floor.

Got home late last night and had little time to plan. This one was a quickie, but still got some laughs from the little one. He was hanging from some sconce candle decoration thingies that are hanging in the living room.

We also have the Elf on a shelf. I showed my Son your photos and now he thinks our elf is going to destroy the house when nobody is looking. Thanks for sharing that!

My kids love our elf. He's not mischievous like most others, he just likes to hang around and watch over everything. I'll tell you what, December is probably the only month my kids actually look forward to waking up in the morning. Problem is, I've already forgotten to move our elf twice, once when my daughter fell asleep on the couch (we explained that he can't go away when someone is in the living room) and once when the kids were not listening (we said he didn't go back to Santa and was giving the kids a mulligan).

I tried it and my kids were NOT having it, no elf on a shelf for us. Our elf is one that is there but you never see. It started last year when I took a random picture that had our glass door and Photoshopped a dimly lit elf looking in, showed it to my kids and they were believers!!!

Sorry to hear that Kronie. Did your kids find the elf creepy, or just not interested in it?

Here's Chippy hanging off our wall-mounted plasma television whilst carrying a Canadian flag. I have a feeling something big is going to happen in the next few days....stay tuned.

Just not interested. They were like, "that's not our elf!Our elf is invisible, and has a secret house that you cant see, and hides in the attic..." Who am I to try and change that?

Can't argue with kids' logic. Merry Christmas to you and your family. :D

I never took the tag off of ours and my son noticed it the other day whilst the elf was hanging from our chandelier.

Chippy decided to make himself some pancakes last night and didn't share them. He ate them all! There was a dirty pan and spatula on the stove too!

It was cold last night, so Chippy helped himsELF to some hot chocolate with mini-marshmallows.
