6D HDR Question

I jsut got a Canon 6D, how excatly do you turn on HDR? when i go to the menu the HDR Mode is grey and i can not enable it....

Do you have RAW or RAW + JPEG selected as the file format?

You cannot select RAW and RAW+JPEG. The HDR mode cannot be set if RAW or RAW+JPEG is set.

You said you had it set to RAW+mJPEG, which, based on what I read, is why it won't work.

Just changed it to JPEG only and it works --- thanks.... of course, that means that at some point i will forget to change it back!!!! LOL

^You seemed to found the solution.
The same page:
- You cannot select RAW and RAW+JPEG. The HDR mode cannot be set if RAW or RAW+JPEG is set.
Select only JPEG mode.
