So some of these knives, especially the custom ones, are beautiful and very expensive.

Worst of all, they are impossible to get. I got to a knife website, click on one of these designers/builders and every pic of their knives says sold out.

What is the best knife website to go to in order to get one of these beauties?

Please tell me more about it. I don't see a name anywhere on it. I was given this knife this past week, but mistakenly thought it was custom. I don't have a sheath either.

I'll have to dig it out but I got it as a gift with a statue of some porcelain Eagles. I'm sure it's just a nice little knife but the statue is really nice and numbered but I'm not home right now.

A lot of them are custom built.

Bark River knives are semi custom - they do a run of blades and attach peoples choices for handles

i have ordered all my Bark River knives through JSBurlysflashlights (the EDCF Forum store)
basically you look at the list to see what is coming up, then tell a dealer what you want (for example, a PSK, orange G10 handle, hollow rivets, Glow Spacer with Black Frames)
a few weeks later it is done, you pay for it, and it arrives in the mail - like this one did

As for other websites
i have ordered from AG Russell before - they are a bit pricey, but pretty good to deal with

others that have been reccomended to me, but i have no experience with are

That's a few UKPK (I think) how about sharing them around ?

I certainly recognize the Delica4 Endura4 and Manix2 Paramillie and Dragonfly a all awesome knives.

I wish I had bought a Manix before Australian Customs started seizing all one hand knives

Its a quality knife, made from good materials, built as a single fingered salute to the UK knife laws - whats not to like ?

I would love to get hold of one, or any new spydercos, just to give them a try
My favorite spyderco is still my ATR though, with the Temperance a close second

I purchased a Bear Grylls knife recently and it has seriously been the best knife that I have ever purchased, very sharp and gets the job done over and over again.

I use a carabiner with a built in knife to hold my keys on my belt. That way I always have a knife with me, even if it's not a very good one.
The rest of my knives are box cutters. I never have to worry about sharpening them or using them in a way that might wreck the blade (such as cutting through steel braided tires) since all I have to do is drop in a new blade
